If your blades seem like they aren't cutting as smooth or pulling on hair - it may be time to replace them. The clippers shouldn't pull or tug on your pet's coat at any point. Our blades are not sharpened, but rather simply replaced once needed. Please review the guide below on how to replace the blades on your AirClipper.
I purchased my FurMe Grooming Kit/Station on ShopHQ when they had it at a special pricing and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I ordered from FurMe extra Filters and Blades. The Blades are SUPERIOR to any other Clipper Blades I've ever used!! I normally have used in the past Wahl Clippers and Blades but the Blades DULL SOOOOOooo fast. I've given my Pomeranian several touch-ups in the past month, about 1X a week because it's so easy and nonstressing for both me and my little girl!! The Blade is still doing a GREAT JOB with no signs of dulling. Down the road when I need to replace Blades, my GOSH they are only $9.99 which is an absolute STEAL vs Wahl Blades at $30 a pop. I couldn't be MORE PLEASED with a purchase!! This is the best purchase I've ever made for me and my little 6lb Pomeranian!!! THANK YOU FURME for such a great item. I researched for about a month before purchasing the FurMe and I'm so glad I chose it!!!!!!!
Used this on 16 dogs and 2 cats so far, and it’s been impressive every single time. Handles different coats without a problem, keeps the mess down, and makes the whole job quicker and easier. Honestly didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s become one of my go-to tools.
We have 5 dogs two cats but this is the only Pic I could get some of them to cooperate. They tolerate this device way better than the other clippers. Peace of mind that they don't get burnt from it getting too hot and no cutting them thanks to the way the blade is designed. Well worth the money a year later 2nd blade bc of our furry kids. We stopped spending 300$ every 6 weeks to this paying for itself in the first groom!
I was so excited when my Furme arrived. I immediately opened it up and groomed my 90# Standard Poodle and my Poodle/Queensland mix and my Yorkie. It was so nice to be able to sit in my kitchen and groom my dogs instead of outside in the hot Arizona heat. With Licorice being black he would get a lot hotter then me. He greatly appreciate me purchasing the Furme.
I have a beautiful Pomskey. She has a very long fur coat and under coat. The Furme has made it so much easier to groom her. And it is so quite! She is not afraid of it and she actually likes being groomed. The deshedding tool is awesome! I get an entire canister of loose fur off her! It helps keep my house so much cleaner. I absolutely love the Furme.
We have 3 doodles and we have been using the furMe for 3-4 yrs. We love it and love the money it has saved us. My husband even uses ot to shave his head!
The furme unit is a good product, the blades work well but become dull very quickly. The good news is replacements are still cheaper than paying someone else to trim my dogs.
We all love this because it cuts great and keeps hair from going everywhere. Also, we were able to easily order the part we needed for the new blade at a reasonable price.
The FurMe vacuum is excellent and makes grooming virtually mess-free. However, the clipper blades are disappointing. The lower blade is plastic, so it doesn't cut as effectively or last as long as standard Oster, Wahl, or similar metal/ceramic blades. As a result, replacements are needed much more frequently. I wish FurMe would either accept standard clipper blades or significantly improve the durability and performance of their own blade design.
We purchased the groomer from Costco in Canada & love it. Great quality, does the job so much easier than the cheaper one we purchased & the big bonus, replacement blades are available & easy to order.
I haven't had a chance to use them yet but the #10 blade is replacing one that I broke when grooming my dogs for Spring. I am very pleased with the appliance and the dogs are willing to be groomed without fussing or wriggling.
The day I received my Furme was a great day. I have been so happy with the results and my two Goldens like the time spent being pampered. Thank you for this innovative way to groom and keep us all happy!@
